The convoy of Jamaat-e-Islami Party leader Sirajul Haq came under attack in the Zhob district of Balochistan province, police sources in the area told Xinhua. According to the police sources, Haq, along with other political workers, was on his way to attend a public gathering in the district when his convoy was attacked, adding that he remained safe after the attack. The nature of the explosion is yet to be confirmed, but some reports said it was carried out by a suicide bomber.
